I LOVED this episode! Thank you for recognizing nurses and the wonderful possibilities this amazing career path offers. As a nurse, I agree with these nurses that no one should ever go into nursing for the financial possibilities because it’s an incredibly difficult career, both emotionally and physically. Patient care is both an honor and a challenge, which means your heart has to be in the right place in order to do the job well. Otherwise, you will hate it, and the patients and your team will suffer as a result. I’ve seen it, and it’s not worth it.

Like Tara, I’ve also encouraged my fellow nurses and techs, particularly the young ones, to invest in our 403b. Financial illiteracy is a problem, but I find most are open to it once they see the power of those compound interest numbers.

Thank you again for another great episode!
