Gratitude Wednesday

Gratitude Wednesday

There is only one downside to this great financial independence community.  Everyone is just too damn accomplished! While safely setting aside my own insane jealousy, it’s impossible not to be awe-inspired by the creativity and talent of this great group of people.  This series of posts is called gratitude Wednesday posts.  This gives me a chance to recognize/promote individuals who have knocked me off my feet by engaging, writing grade A material, or being extremely social media savvy.  I would die for the skills, intelligence, and downright friendliness of the writers highlighted today.  I will purposefully focus on what I think of as emerging blogs.  Everybody already knows about the websites that garner millions of page views a year.  I will focus on the future movers and shakers.

In Her Own Words:

I am a software engineer during the day, blogger early in the morning and a mom full time. The perfect words to describe me would be Jack of all trades, master of none. I like creating stuff, and being a software engineer would have been a perfect job for me if I didn’t have to sit in a cubicle all day and have meetings.

I can draw and paint, knit and crochet, and love crafts in any form. I also do some woodworking. However, the most consistent hobby I have had is reading. I can and do read anything and everything I come across…

All of the articles found here are constructed in such a way that is easily understandable to the general audience. Simple and easy comprehension is our primary focus.

  • How much do you have on your total savings?

 The Three Year Experiment

Have You Read Her Latest Post: The Best Advice I Know For Becoming Location Independent

In Her Own Words:

The Three Year Experiment was born the summer I turned 37, just over a year and a half ago. On that birthday, I started to question if we were living our lives the way we intended to, or if we were just going through the motions of the life we were supposed to live. So it occasioned a series of talks with Mr. ThreeYear about what we really wanted for our family in the next few years. We’d also just gotten back from an amazing anniversary trip to Southeast Asia. We knew we loved to travel, and wanted to bring more of it to our family. We also knew we loved our extended families, and wanted to see more of them. We knew staying put in our cozy New England town probably wasn’t the best option. But did we want to move to Thailand, eat lots of coconut buns, and learn more Thai than kòp kun (mâak)? Maybe. Or did we want to move back to Chile, to be closer to family and so the kids could learn Spanish? Possibly.

Bottom Line: Location Independent In 3 Years By Doubling Our Net Worth
