I’m new to this podcast (and chose this episode as one of my firsts) but, I admit I felt disappointed that instead of it being an episode about being single, all the questions were geared towards catching a mate, dating strategies, and in fact the only non-dating question was to ask whether being single was SELFISH. I mean, Ouch. My suggestion might be that the title of this episode be changed “FI and Dating” because there is still a potential episode that focuses on the interesting aspects of a single person building an FI lifestyle on their own single income.

Yes, you are right. The purpose of this episode was to explore the interrelationship difficulties of FI. Truth be told, I never thought about the difficulties of reaching FI as a single person. I always assumed it was similar.
