Thanks for having me as a guest. It was fun to have a conversation like that, almost like being at a CampFI or FinCon for an hour. I truly love the format of the show and your topics are unique, like this one.
Plus, we got to see and talk to Gasem and VagabondMD. They are both really interesting and have so much to contribute. For example, my audio quality unfortunately had a lot of echo, because I recorded on travel at my brother-in-law’s place and the only decent WiFi was in a bathroom near the router, that was all tile. Gasem mentioned in a comment that I read here, but after our show, a method to be a better guest. Which is to make a quick recording of your set up, post it to YouTube and see how it sounds. I saw his comment after our session, but it is great advice that I will take in the future. That’s the beauty of commenting. People share excellent tips and ideas.
They sure do. It was a blast having you on and thanks for being such a great member of the community.
I enjoyed participating in the podcast and listening again afterward. The recap was excellent, too. Well done!
It was greta having you on. You guys do all the work and Paul and I sit back and bask in your glow.
So happy to hear you on this podcast, Susan! And looking forward to checking out Robert & Gasem’s blogs now, too. I have found the FIRE community to be very welcoming, and I’ve enjoyed connecting with other bloggers through blog comments & events. Sometimes the jewels are in the comments, as you mentioned.
I agree. I have had comments on some of my blogs that are better than the original post.
Enjoyed this podcast episode very much! Thanks for giving a voice to some of the best commenters in the business! And thanks, Susan, for the kind words! Hopefully see all of you at FinCon in September!
Thanks for listening! Can’t wait till your episode comes out.
here is something I’m considering; not deflating or deflation, but generational wealth that grows beyond… if we provide the values to our kids that we have, money should only ‘grow old’ e.g. old money… money is a tool, not a tool that should be withered away for your life, it should cast our next generation or enable our next generation…. goodness, this team of people on this pod cast is producing a number of “mind bombs” (btw mind bombs are good) –
A big question. Should we strive towards multigenerational wealth? Or are our offspring better getting there themselves?
